SOTA Weekend

07 Mar 2019, 20:01
from Pat-29QRZ11
The 11M & PMR SOTA Committee is setting up a SOTA week-end which will take place one week-end during the spring-summer of 2019.

This event will be an integral part of the SOTA Tour 2019 (points for hunters).

To maximize our chances of success and in order to mobilize a maximum of activators, we made a survey on last month to define the date of the weekend that will be most compatible with the schedules of each.

In the CQ Magazin

TNX to Steven 2WR3636

He found this SUPER article in the 2014 February CQ Magazin about the 11m freebanders an QRZ11. Also a special TNX to Cory G B Sickles WA3UVV for writing this great article.
Yes, we are proud to say that we have our place in the radio society.

Quite a few of ham operators came from the 11m scene and in the near future a lot still will come from there to become one. On 27.555-Mhz the behavior is excellent. Of course here and there are beginners that still have to learn a lot. But where better to learn the basics then on the 11m band with QRZ11 to help them...!

11Meter talking Ham.
One step away of becoming a futur Radio Amateur

Hi all!

HamSphere is a virtual Ham Radio Transceiver. Once installed, you will be able to communicate with thousands of Amateur Radio operators and 11 meter operators in over 200 countries around the world. You can use HamSphere without a Ham Radio license just register and you will get a call sign for your division. This is also greate for beginners. HamSphere is a highly realistic shortwave simulation based on SDR (Software Defined Radio) technology.

Give it a go. It is so easy!!!
